The "After" image has pluses and minuses. It's good to soften some of the skin, but not to lose the edges that define the subject. I would exclude not only the eyes, but the eyelashes, from the bluring. the same goes for edges of the lips, the line of the chin, the separation of the nose from the upper lip, etc. Without that, the model looks like wax and may seem to be melting. --Ed (old magazine editor/art director)
